Information Governance ensures necessary safeguards for, and appropriate use of data. Because we work with healthcare solutions this can mean patient records and personal information. We take this very seriously and have rigorous safeguards ensuring the protection of any informant we use as part of our work.
Wherever possible we try not to use real patient details and use anonymous information for test and development purposes, however occasionally real data can be required. As a result, all of our Computer systems utilize encryption technologies, and any removable or portable devices use full disc encryption. We are able to send all electronic communications with full encryption, and digitally sign any e-mails.
In addition to adhering to our own security policies we are happy to follow any policies our clients have in this area, and will liaise with the Information Governance Manager to ensure full compliance is achieved.
